When all the world is just a cage.
And from inside yourself, there’s no escape.
Your parasite has been left behind
Where everything else has left.
The demon that’s been locked inside.
You’re now nothing more than a parasite.
There’s nothing left of who you were.
And there’s little left of myself.
But I realize now, you were lost long ago.
You’re as dead to me now as you are to yourself.
